How can government expect banks to intensify their drive to recover loans from farmers when the political leaders including finance minister can anyday decide to waive it.

I feel govt should directly pay subsidy to farmers and stop forcing banks to lend to farmers. This way both will be happy and prosper.

Farmers debt waive off all credit taken by congress. But 2/3rd of this will be borne by next government. Very Clever !! |

But banks are not loser. They are getting money and also recucing the NPAs. I feel they shold now strat loans with a fresh zeal.
